PSRC Sponsor Q&A with Envoy Global


Envoy Global is an immigration services provider rooted in the idea that employees are happier, companies are more successful and our world is a stronger place when people are able to work and live anywhere an opportunity presents itself. As a Puget Sound Relocation Council (PSRC) sponsor, we were excited to sit down with a few members from across their organization to learn more about their mission and initiatives. Here’s what they had to say about Envoy’s involvement with the PSRC, their core values and what makes Envoy a great place to work.


Where is your company headquartered?

Chicago, IL


For how many years have you been involved with the Puget Sound Relocation Council (PSRC) and why did you decide to become a sponsor?

We’ve been involved with the PSRC since 2019. We decided to become a member and sponsor after hearing from our customers in the Seattle area that this was an inclusive group with a lot of initiatives that align with our values. As a Chicago-based company, we are always looking for ways to get involved with groups across the country, and the PSRC was a natural fit.

What makes your company unique? Please be specific!

Envoy is unique because at our core, we’re a tech company, but we’re helping to improve a historically cumbersome process. By combining our market-leading technology with the legal teams at our affiliated law firms, we are able to provide a better, holistic experience for all stakeholders involved with the employment-based immigration process.


From a company standpoint, we practice what we preach. If you were to walk through the Envoy office, you would see foreign nationals from around the world working in marketing, tech and product and even on our leadership team. By the numbers, 12% of our employees are immigrants, and that number jumps to 28% on our leadership team.


What are your company’s core values? Please provide a few examples of these values in action.

Diversity and inclusion are critical to accomplishing our mission of all people achieving their full potential. True diversity underscores our values and the work we do every day for the coalition of cultures, ethnicities and nationalities hoping to reach their potential in a new land.


We strive to create a work environment that fosters an open forum and provides our team equal access to opportunities. Our DEI committee is grounded in four tenets: Education, Inclusion, Empowerment, and Activism. The committee’s action plan focuses on the following:

  • Workforce diversity. We will duplicate our efforts to ensure our workforce reflects the diversity in our community. We’ve set measurable goals for the next 3 years to increase the total number of diverse team members and the number of diverse team members in management roles.

  • Direct support. We will enable and encourage our team members to share their talents. This will include working with organizations that combat racism to support pro-bono legal work, technology education in schools, internships and interview preparation/training.

  • Contributing. We pledge an initial $25,000 donation to charitable organizations and will continue to provide financial support to organizations that support marginalized communities.

  • Community service. We will provide employees with an additional day of paid community service. Our DEI Committee will share ideas on specific programs employees can participate in to support marginalized communities impacted by racism.

  • Listening and Learning. On an ongoing basis the DEI Committee will provide an open forum for our workplace and continue to share feedback on how we can improve our workplace inclusivity and assist communities whose voices are not heard.

What, in your opinion, is the most exciting/rewarding part about the work your company does?

Our CEO always says that we are in the opportunity business, and that sentiment is rooted in all initiatives across the organization. When you walk through Envoy’s office, the walls are lined with beautiful portraits of foreign nationals who were able to realize their potential and take advantage of an opportunity that was enabled by immigration. Knowing that we are able to play a role in helping these individuals achieve their dreams is what keeps us all going.
